An article describing the utility of parent and teacher/staff book clubs. In the program described, the book club met twice a semester in the form of a literature circle, and all aspects of planning and book selection were shared. This article also highlights how the book club can result in developing strong partnerships between families and teachers, and how to begin and maintain these collaboration spaces for parents and teachers.
